Submersible Pumps "T" |
Decades of experience, exhaustive research and development work, and close cooperation with our customers, have resulted in the MAST series of submersible pumps that will satisfy the most discerning requirements. |
Model: T 8
|
We developed the first maintenance-free submersible pumps more than 30 years ago. The concept dispensed with an oil chamber, and yet still ensured that the pump could run dry without fear of damage. We subsequently invented the MD Electronics System as a complete motor protection with integrated automatic direction of rotation to ensure that the pump always rotates in the correct direction without having to repole the plug. |
The flat-suction facility to pump off fluids down to a level of only a few millimetres is another MAST invention. This facility is standard in the smaller submersible pumps. |
There are many factors favouring MAST submersible pumps. Why not check for yourself! |
The advantages of MAST pumps |
MD - Electronic System The MD Electronic System stands for an electronic motor and rotary-direction monitoring system that was invented by MAST to offer a hitherto unknown measure of full motor protection. The system ensures that the correct rotating direction is always maintained without requiring a changeover switch or a phase-changer in the plug. The MD Electronic System guarantees multiple protection against a number of possible faults. |
Automatic rotating direction facility The automatic rotating direction facility ensures that the motor always rotates in the correct direction, irrespective of the phase sequence of the power socket. This totally excludes the possibility of damage being caused to the pump on account of an incorrect rotating direction. Furthermore, the facility also eliminates the need for changeover switches or pole-changing plugs. This ensures maximum safety and trouble-free operation. |
Phase-failure protection Failure of one of the three phases in the supply line activates a contactor that disconnects the motor current from the mains. In this manner the motor winding cannot be destroyed by a phase failure. The pump is automatically switched on again when the fault has been remedied. |
Temperature protection A thermosensor in each stator winding protects the motor from heat damage in the event of overloading. The motor is switched off as soon as the winding temperature exceeds 130?C, and it is only switches on again after the winding has cooled down. |
Voltage monitoring The MD Electronic System ensures that the pump cannot be switched on if it is connected to an incorrect voltage. An undervoltage release interrupts the power circuit at critical undervoltage levels, thereby preventing motor damage. |
